“From small beginnings come great things” -Ancient proverb

So, today is the first day of the new year for Ice Cold Poker. It's been about 6 weeks since my last entry, and plenty has been happening. I'm going to be changing the course of this blog somewhat so that I have a chance of regular posts, and by including more diverse material such as interesting thoughts and non-poker content, I hope to have more to say that will appeal to more people.

Quick run down of 2009....
Hands played: 500k
Money made: £51k
avg BB/100: 4.55
VPIP: 22.3
PRF:14.9
Will put down more of thoughts on the latter stats at a later date also, suffice for the moment to say I think I need to get much more aggressive and maybe loosen up just a little.

In other news, I just got back from a snowboarding holiday and it was amazing, will update more later but will leave you with this nice little pic of Alpe D'Huez....

Seems like a lot of poker bloggers took a long break around new years. Hopefully the new year will bring with new luck (as a change in dealers does). Good luck in 2010.

Thank you for sharing the story behind your inspiration for Enforcer's
Pride. That must have been a rewarding, yet difficult job you had.
